The appearance of midges in our apartment is most often discussed by the presence in the house of acidic land. Of course, it is easiest to detect it in a flower pot.
The earth acidifies from too frequent watering, if at the same time there are no holes in the bottom of the pot, or they are too small, or if the pot is too large for the plant.
The best way to get rid of insects is to change the ground by throwing the old. Wash empty pots with boiling water with soap and hard brush and disinfect with potassium permanganate.
The plants themselves also need disinfection: rejuvenate all their parts with slightly warm water and only then put in fresh ground.
Spray the clusters of the midges with dichlofos or any other remedy for midges and close the room for 2 hours.
The aphid can be removed with tobacco infusion: gut cigarettes and 40 g of tobacco, insist 1 liter of boiling water, and, after filtering, add a little soap to the solution (approximately 5 g). With this solution, it is necessary to spray the plants and repeat this procedure within 10 days.
The easiest way to get rid of aphids is to plant in a pot of cows. Very soon there will be no trace of aphids!
