Egypt – is it worth going to the country for relaxation

Going on a trip, we all anticipate an excellent rest. Someone sees in dreams a gentle sea and a cozy beach, someone streets of old cities, cool halls of famous museums or majestic mountain peaks … In a few days I want to see everything and immediately. Sometimes the plans are so large that there is barely enough vacation for their implementation. However, in a wonderful planned vacation, Mr. Case sometimes intervenes – an accident.

Which country is considered the most dangerous? Let’s talk about this in our article.

According to the latest data, Egypt firmly occupied a leading position in the number of dead and wounded tourists. The main cause of tragic incidents is well known to everyone. Tourism news is told about it with frightening frequency: “In Egypt, tourists died again as a result of an accident”. No matter how scary, but such messages have already become familiar. We have almost come to terms with the fact that tourists who went to the country of the pyramids are dying in traffic accidents.

If it were an isolated case, one could say that a tragic accident occurred. However … Why is this happening? Experts call several reasons: very poor technical conditions of transport and low qualifications of drivers. Worst drivers than the Egyptians, probably not. They not only do not even know the elementary rules of the road, but also drive – then with difficulty. And in an effort to earn more money, they work according to such a dense schedule that they bring themselves to physical exhaustion, as a result of which they often fall asleep during movement.

Conclusion: it is better not to go to excursion tours. Or use air transport. True, you still have to get to the airport.

The statistics of the lady are inexorable – the total number of victims in this country of tourists increased almost three times. In 2007-2008 alone, 12 Russians died in Egypt, 62 people were injured.

The current situation on one of the most popular route causes concern not only among tourists, but also in the State Duma. For the first time in the history of Russian tourism, a draft application for the undesirable visit of Egypt was submitted for consideration. This document contained recommendations to the Government of the Russian Federation on the development of measures to inform tourists about the sad statistics of incidents in Egypt.

At the same time, it would be nice to clearly indicate to tourists who decided to save a few dollars to the inadmissibility of using the services of dubious Egyptian firms when traveling on excursions, and not to assign all responsibility for road incidents on Russian tour operators. Put things in order on the roads of Egypt, they are unlikely to be able to.
