We’ll take a little rest from meat food, and try such a vegetable pie in Italian, with carrots, beans, green peas, basil leaves and cheese. Cooking time: 1 hour.
Ingredients (for 4 portions):
300 g of carrots
300 g of patch beans
300 g grains of peas
5 eggs
1 Basilic beam
3 tbsp. l. milk
4 tbsp. l. breadcrumbs (or bread crumbs)
6 tbsp. l. grated dry cheese
2 tbsp. l. olive oil salt to taste ground pepper to taste
Preparation:
Cut the carrots at the edges and clean, also cut the ends of the beans. Wash the carrots and beans, cut the carrots with cubes, and the beans into small pieces.
Rinse, dry and chop the bunch of basil.
Carrots, beans and peas slightly blanch in salted water, separately. Drain water, transfer vegetables into a cup.
In another cup, preferably enameled, beat eggs with milk and grated cheese until a homogeneous mixture. Add this mixture to vegetables, pour breadcrumbs and chopped basil there, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients for the pie well.
Prepare a baking dish about 22-24 cm in size, or a baking sheet, grease it with oil, put a cooked vegetable mixture for a pie on it. Heat the oven to 200 ° C, put a dish with a pie, bake for 20 minutes, or until the surface becomes golden.
Pull the finished pie out of the oven, let it stand in the dish for some time so that it cools down a little. After cut the pie into pieces, put on a serving dish and serve to the table.
