What influence the noise exists on a person’s dream

Noise during work negatively affects sleep, or rather its quality.

For workers subjected to numerous noises at their workplace during the working day, a reduction in the quantity and quality of sleep was noticed.

Night noises (ventilation, movement, snoring) also have a significant impact on sleep:

– change in the duration of the phases of sleep;

– acceleration of heart rhythm;

– body movements and changes in its position;

– Slow down the period of falling asleep, awakening and difficulties in falling asleep again.

The noise is also considered by a potential risk factor for accidents, or at least a factor contributing to the commission of human errors. And this is not an groundless statement, since noise:

– can “disguise” danger signals; – violates communication and can make imperceptible warning signs about the danger,

– worsens the ability to learn,

– Finally, the noise distracts attention and reduces the ability of perception.

During a healthy sleep, a person does not hear many noise. You won’t even remember what you heard at night, since it will be only a few seconds, but your body will store these memories, hence the feeling of brokenness after sleep … After all, even if you do not wake up from a slight noise, it is able to provoke a change in the sequence of sleep stages, in favor of “easy sleep” and to the detriment of “deep”.

In addition, if we assume that the body will “train” to the noise during sleep, the noise results will still continue to break the dream: after all, physiological functions will be affected.

Of course, discomfort for a sleeping person will be more or less significant depending on the acoustic level: for example, the alleged noise is less annoying than a sudden, or specially selected noise (for example, music) does not interfere with us as an unforeseen noise.
