We will cook pies with fried cabbage and tomato. I used to cook cabbage pies with onions and carrots, I didn’t really like them, maybe because of carrots…Don’t know. Then, one friend, having heard that I do not like pies with cabbage, was surprised and talked about her filling. Since I am a person is not conservative, and I like to study the new, I quickly tried a new filling. My family approved and fell in love with such pies. So, now I am sharing with you my favorite recipe for pies with cabbage and tomato.
Take for such pies a hard-piece dough on the soda, but add to it when kneading 1-2 t. l sugar. This test has a layered structure.

Well, if you do not like mixing sour and sweet, then take the dough on kefir. This test has a delicate structure.
Ingredients: fresh white cabbage – 1 kg, salt – 1 hour. l, black pepper Gorky ground – 1 h. l, tomato paste – 2 t. L, coriander – 0.5 hours. l, mushroom seasoning – 1 h. l, water – 50 g, sunflower oil refined for frying – 0.3 t.
Preparation:
We chop the cabbage and put in a pan in a heated oil. Add spices and evenly fry the cabbage over medium heat from all sides, periodically mixing, until golden and pleasant smell.
When the cabbage is fogged, add tomato paste and water, reduce the fire and languish under the lid until water evaporates (10 minutes).
The filling for pies is ready, now it must be cooled to room temperature. Hot filling is not placed in the dough, since the dough will “swim” from this.
Roll out of the dough thin, 5 mm thick, circles. In the center of the mug, put the cabbage fried with tomato and pinch the edges.
Thus, I usually sculpt a portion of pies for the first laying on the frying, then put them to frure and as they fry, I reel more pies. If you prefer to blind everything first and only then fry, then you should prepare a surface with flour, on which you lay out the blocked pies and a clean kitchen towel to cover them, otherwise the dough on the pies can be “we will weave”, which is not very good will affect their quality.
